I’m always thinking about my tagline…
-
“Does it convey who I am and what I am about?”
“Is it memorable?”
“Will people ‘get it’?”
“Is it too long?”
Is it to short?”
“Does it say too much?”
“Does it say too little?”
I’ve changed my tagline three times in the past year. Each one was accurate, but as I changed and grew, so did The Dreaming Cafe and so did my tagline. As I became clearer about my business and my goals so did my tagline.
Thinking about taglines made me a little curious about what other people’s taglines said. Were they memorable? Did they convey what I thought the website/person/business was about?
Instead of just looking around the web and keeping them to myself, I thought I’d share some of them with you. I was surprised by the number of people who did not have a tagline.
Do taglines really make a difference? What do these taglines tell you? After visiting the website associated with the tagline did it match up and meet your expectations?

What’s your tagline?

Sandy, I like your new tagline–it grew with you! Encompasses more! It’s fun to see you grow as you go anyway. Always new horizons!
Thanks for including me in your list of taglines. I guess the No-Clone Zone is my tagline! And I was feeling bad because there isn’t any room in my theme for a tagline like yours.
