Springtime

I have been offline for 2.5 days.

I have been clearing underbrush, raking, planting and generally working my ass off outside.

Today I can barely move. I’m stiff and sore. My joints ache and I have numerous cuts and scrapes.

And, I’m not even halfway down.

The vegetable garden needs to be planted, trees and shrubs need to be planted and the rest of the woodpile moved. But, at least I have some flowers…

And, my new birdfeeder, which is empty today because two tiny, ‘piggy’, finches ate just about all the birdseed yesterday. Who knew such tiny birds could eat so much?

I’ll try and get pictures of the finches next time.

You could also spruce up that old wheel and suspend it for hanging plants or herbs.

You could use that old wheel for an herb garden – I love making them from odd recycled things like that!
