Finding a New Work-at-Home Rhythm

It has been three and half months since I resigned from my day job and I have to admit I still haven’t quite found my work-at-home rhythm yet, but I am getting closer every day.

This was the old me:

    Wake up between 3-4am
    Write for 1 hour +/-
    Walk at the park
    Get ready for work
Out the door at on the highway no later than 715am. (most days by 630am)
    Work till 6pm most nights.
    Home by 7pm.
    Dinner.
Relax for an hour or so.
    Write until 9pm or 10pm

This is the new me:

    Wake up between 5-6am
    Cook breakfast.
    Turn on my computer.
    Check my email.
Now, if this is a ‘work’ day this is what it will, most of the time look like. If it is a ‘fritter away day’, see yesterday’s post.
Write and do other ‘work’ till about 10am
10am-2pm, take a walk at the mall, cook lunch, run errands, read.
    2pm-5pm+/- write and work
    Dinner and relax
7pm-?? Write and work or play and read. Just depends on how much work I got done and where I stand with my weekly to-do list.

What does your day look like?
