I also have been organizing, pitching old paperwork, and creating inspirational space. My office is in the basement of our home. It does not have windows, so I have to work extra hard to be inspired. However, I did recently purchase a laptop, so now I can write/work where ever my heart desires. I am looking forward to the spring when I can work outside next to my flower gardens....

Like you and the others, i have a treasured home office. i share your theme of window on the backyard. Mine overlooks our outdoor kitchen herb and winter greens gardens. Plants and favorite books, art & craft supplies along with family photos and favorite reference materials surround my workspace. Two dog beds and one kitty perch - all usually occupied - complete the coziness.

However, too much clutter has taken up residence...and it's most definitely time to sort, simplify and rearrange for the new, evolving me. Like the rest of you, i'm also cleaning and clearing out papers, books, magazines that used to be important in other life phases.

File cabinets that hold up my smooth countertop desk are full of old files i'm slowly clearing out.

Nice to have company...even if we're in different geographical states.

My office could use some organization and clutter clearing, but I love being in this room surrounded by books, plants, a sunny window, and other things that resonate with me and feed my soul. February is when I am committed to take the time to work on organizing and clearing the clutter to improve it further. I am going to purchase a very large wall calendar with big blocks to hang on the wall right behind my desk. Small ones just aren't working well for me. It could be paper, or even a dry erase one. I'm also going to purchase office supplies and whatever else is needed to help me be more productive, creative, organized, and also to feel joyful and have fun while I am in here.

As for the state you have been in lately, emotional freedom technique (EFT), could be very helpful to get you back to that place that you want to be in.
There are a lot of places on the internet that offer free videos on how to tap on your meridians and do this process. It's basically a form of accupuncture without needles and helps with negative emotions, lack of energy and desire, pain and illness, and more. It works quickly.

I too am working on creating my creative space to dream, to think, to write, and more. Right now it seems rather exhausting because I'm currently being pulled in so many directions, plus one of my major issues is "papers." A small stack here, a little bit larger one there, a few others there; you get the picture. In any case, I am getting more and more organized and simplifying my life, believe it or not. I do have a vision board, but I'd like to update it; make a few changes. So, in answer to your question, no-my space is not too inspiring as of YET. It will be soon. I am staying focused as much as I can during this chaotic time of my life. It shouldn't be too much longer. I must, and will organize and simplify.
